I've been holding off FOREVER looking for the perfect wheel. This just might be it! I'd really like to go with Matte Gunmetal but I'm concerned about how close the color will be to my Magnetic. Any chance you could get pics of that combo? I could photoshop but that doesn't cut it because of light differences still give a false look. I've already considered bronze and black and don't want those for my own reasons.

Is wheel weight THAT important? Just a daily driver but some rotary forged offerings are ~25 lbs for that size. Is 5 pounds per corner that noticeable?

I still love how these look and not much out there looks close to the clean lines unless you go 3 piece or high end monoblocks.

Help sway me

It can really lighten up the feel and especially the steering of the vehicle. Itll also help with braking performance as well.

At 25 lbs pee wheel your actually shedding 8 lbs per corner, 16 per axle and a total of 32 lbs of unsprung weight. Less mass equals less inertia to break or move.

If your more of a casual driver you might not notice. But if your really in tune you will definitely feel a difference.

reducing unsprung weight is one of the best things you can do for a cars' handling characteristics. Unless you want to drive a car that feels like a school bus, you should be paying attention to wheel weight. It's like not caring what octane gas you put in your car - will it run on 87? Sure.. but it'll run a LOT better on 93.

5lbs will make a difference, but it will also make a difference in price. Different companies will make different wheels: Forged or cast and depending how each is made will depend on price. Of course Cast wheels will be cheaper than the forged. There are also different ways to make cast wheels such as gravity cast which is cheaper and less durable and then there is low pressure cast which is more durable. We make low pressure cast wheels and have plenty of mustangs with 800+ hp running on our wheels with no issues. CJ Pony parts has taken their S550 to Auto cross on our wheels with no issues at all.

These are still lighter than the stock wheels, but if a customer is very concerned about weight and wants wheels to weigh less than that we usually recommend them to go with HRE, but as stated before the price will be more for forged.
