I won't be providing anymore feedback for a while due to my engine letting go this morning. I was on the 5th tune revision and during a datalog in 3rd all hell broke lose. I'm not blaming Vargas or Adam for anything, obviously. I'm still not sure what happened myself. Sorry guys!
Rod bolt snapped, just for anyone wondering. From the earlier build dates, I have determined in most cases the rod bolts shearing are the problem. Loose build, high torque.

16k, stock turbo, Vargas Stage 1, Stage 1 + Methanol, Stage 2.

The log was the cleanest thing ever, then just took a poop. 23psi, only 3° of timing (92oct).

Thinking we can get away with just bolts but it is going to need to have some testing first. Can't just pop them in as it might make tolerances too tight. Need to take a stock set, measure with dial bore gauge, then put in upgraded bolts, and go again.

Possible to do it inside the car if everything measures out right, but if it has to come out you might as well do a build.

Has it been determined if this was fixed for the 16 motors?

I'm thinking the new part number for the 2016 versus the 2015 was a fix for this issue. No confirmation, and this is not the place for the discussion.

Awful for such a low mileage car.....would using 3 different turbos of had anything to do with it?

It sure didnt help, but they have been seen failing on stock cars so its more of a ticking time bomb than what did i do wrong type of deal.

So I am seriously curious now, is that an issue that all early 2015ers should worry about? I'm definitely cautious about how much I want to push my stock turbo/e85 kit now. I guess I'll just get some benefit while enjoying the safe clean engine.

Sorry about your motor man. Yeah Rod bolts suck, power has little to do with them letting go as they are not under tension on the power stroke. Rpm is what stresses them so there was nothing you or anyone could do about it. Maybe return to stock and see if you can get it fixed under warranty. Best case you get a new engine. Worst they say no. You have nothing to lose and this IS a manufacturing defect.
