When I get the AUX fuel going, and the new engine in, as high as the Turbo will go !!!

Im just playing around right now for fun. I put my stock 19" PP wheels and tires on the other day, gonna see if I cant go in the 11s with them turned up a few more psi of boost. Hope to go a high 11 low 12 at 115 - 116 on the factory tires. Makin a sleeper .....

Put my Stock 19" Performance Pack wheels with the Factory PZero tires on all 4 corners. Ran a 12.334 at 112.11 with the 21 - 22 psi boost tune. Jon Lund sent me a tune with about 4 - 5 psi more boost, I put some more Sunoco GT260 in the car and made a pass and ran a low 12, was hoping for a high 11, but I need to get on a prepped track, weds night street drags they dont prep the track. It was a blast trying to get a good ET on the Stock Pirellis, gonna do it some more.

Well you are definitely coming out of the hole much stronger than me. I trapped 110mph, but your ET is much better. Any tips or tricks you got? I am guessing it is in the tuning.

The speed obviously has to do with the boost pressure and timing. I assume your near 20 psi of boost to go 110 mph. Its pretty much all in the tune as you said, just gotta keep working at it, its part of the fun.

20 to 21psi on 93 octane. This was also on 20" wheels as well. I'm only spinning when I shift into second though. I'll have to talk to my tuner and see if there is more we can do down low.

Do you have a stock converter?

Was your low 12 second pass on 93 octane with that converter, or stock?
All my time slips are low 12s, have gone low 12s with this Turbo with the stock convertor and the Circle D. I can tell you that I could not get it into the 11s with the stock convertor , could not quite get it to 60 ft fast enough, super close, but not into the 11s. My speed tended to be 112 to 113 on my 93 tune, and 117 to 120 on race gas depending on the boost. I am on E85 now , so ill always be on more boost now. Who tunes your car ?

I was just curious about your best time on 93 with the stock converter. Adam is tuning my car now. I have been waiting a few months for my auxiliary fuel kit so I can run E85 instead of 93. I don't want to have to replace the converter, so I am not sure what I will do. I am excited to see what you run with E85 now.

I believe I read in this Vargas post that your tuner was getting 20 psi of boost with a large PTE turbo with a stock convertor, so really theres no need to change the convertor, if he can do that with that big turbo, he can get this turbo to spool up as well.

I completely agree. That was on higdominators car. I followed his build as well and he was putting down some impressive times. I need that 2-step setup for sure!
