I have 74k miles on my 2015 V6 and I’d thought I saw spark plug replacement at like 75-80k miles but I’m also seeing 30-40k miles. Also, what are the best plugs which will last and perform best with the engine? Please let me know.

I had no problems running the OEM plugs for 120K miles.

They say the OEM plugs lasts for 100K miles as it has platinum tips.

Well I’ve noticed a marked drop in MPG from when she was new. I don’t know if the spark plugs I have are platinum tipped as they’re factory and honestly I haven’t looked at them because I’m not much in the way of being mechanically inclined. Thanks for the info though as it’s much appreciated.

Yank and wire brush and brake clean and let it rip.

Honestly if it makes you feel better just do them, it’s like $50 for V6 and 75k/10yrs is a decent service life.

Yes they could probably go longer. I had a car with 160k on plugs lololol.

I'm seeing 100,000 mi / 160,000 km as the standard service interval, 60,000 mi / 96,000 km as the severe duty (excessive idling, towing) interval.

Splitting the difference and given your mileage, you could replace now, while reviewing the plugs along the way for tells something else needs attention.

As others have mentioned previously, only buy plugs from reputable and established dealers and sites.

Air filter? How's that doin'? When last replaced?

Thanks! Air filter is a dry one that’s washable high flow. Checked it and it’s fine. Only replaced it like 2k miles ago.

Iridium plugs last for a very very long time under normal operation.

Unless somebody gets a dud, then who knows.
