So I've got a question that I haven't seen addressed on here before - it looks as though the seats on the V6 are different from those on the base EB and GT models (they look different on the configurator anyway, and you can't get the V6 seats in Ceramic).

Does anyone know what the differences between the seats are? I'm curious about the bolstering (the actual physical seat under the upholstery), as well as the material of the upholstery itself, adjustability, etc. Obviously the Premium seats have heating and cooling, which would suggest that they use a different physical seat than the base models, but by all accounts the bolstering/fit is the same on the EB/GT base vs. premium seats, so maybe they don't? I can't imagine that they use a different physical seat on the V6 vs the other base models, but maybe so? Is the difference in upholstery for differentiation between the models, or is there more to it?

Now that the cars are out there maybe we can start piecing together some answers to some of these questions.

My V6 seat construction is exactly the same as the EB/GT in terms of bolstering and overall shape and fit. As for the material... I have some pictures over here: http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php/051a-v6-guard-4371.html
Basically they are your normal cloth with the center being a mix of both black cloth and a white base (closeup in the link).

Thanks - yeah I had seen those pictures of your seats before (great pics and sweet car BTW), that's part of what got me wondering. Sounds like the only difference is in the upholstery - in which case the V6 just scored another few points in my book.

I have sat in the 68B interior and as far as I could tell there is no difference in the seat bolstering and comfort! So as you said pretty much the only difference appearance wise is the the upholstery.

The V6 fabric is definitely not the same as what I have seen in the EB/GT base photos. I liked the V6 fabric better.

I like the v6 fabric better too. The construction is the same as the GT/EB, only bad thing is v6 has no passenger seat hight adjustment.

Does anyone have an up close shot of the Base GT/EB seats? I have seen pictures but not up close like above.

These are the only pics I've seen of the GT seats, we're gonna have to wait till someone gets one.

It looks like the fabric is identical except for the centers.

Yep. I really like the white stitching and would probably be happy with either pattern.
