Does anyone know whether the leather seats in the EB Premium are the same leather seats that come with the GT Premium? Not the Recaros but the standard leather seats.

I've been looking at buying a Mustang GT and I had an EB Premium for a rental this week while traveling for work. I'm thin and still found the bolsters from the leather seats pretty uncomfortable. They're too close together. If these are the same seats used in the GT Premium, then I'll just go with the regular GT and its cloth seats. Thanks for any info.

The seats are identical.

EDITED TO ADD: The bolsters are also identical on the seats with leather or with cloth trim, so that wouldn't change anything. You might have just gotten an odd seat in that rental. I'm a pretty big guy (6'0", 240 lbs.) and have never felt the bolsters to be too close together.

Thanks. I've driven a GT with the cloth seats and they felt fine to me. It could be that, even if the bolsters are the same shape as the leather seats, the cloth seats aren't as firm. Either way, I'll have to sit in another GT Premium to confirm whether I like the seats.

Yep, same seats. I couldn't decide between Recaros and heated/cooled leather when checking out Premium GT's. I sat in both and decided to go with the heated/cooled leather seats. The bolsters on the stock leather seats were plenty for me. Also, using it as a daily driver, it is nice to have the heated and cooled seats.

The EB and GT Premium leather seats are the same. The cloth and leather seats all use the same bolsters as well.

I’m thin and like the supportive leather seats in GT Premium. Bolsters are effective while comfy.
