I got mine for 23K OTD as well. Such a steal for what the V6 offers. Absolutely love it.

Holding out for a twin turbo kit though.....
got mine new for 21k after taxes :first:

To be fair here: a V6 from the dealer could go for as little as 20k. One of the guys in my club got them to that price on a 2016 (just didn't come in with his own outside loan). So really, to get GT performance for less than the price of a Premium EB (mine) is not a bad deal.

The best part of getting a V6 is that you have the cheapest insurance, can work on paying it off safely, and then when you're a little older and have your insurance settled down and make better money... you can celebrate a paid off car with a 5-6k Procharger and call it a day. It's called graduating. Sometimes in life you gotta graduate to the next step up instead of getting it early.

I've got less than $28k total in mine (bought car new for $21600). Nothing will touch it for that kind of money.

I dont like when people dismiss the 3.7 as a performance motor....will it ever stack up to the 5.0 mod for mod...absolutely not....but it makes as much power as the old cobra, mach1, and 3v gt...amd its a very well made motor with a great power band. It gets great mileage...and only weighs 10 to 15lbs more than the EB. Sure, the procharger is freakin expensive, and its not as easy to get power out of like the eb, but its still a great motor in a great car. A couple years ago everybody was praising the 3.7 for beeing a afordable performance car, now its the red headed step child. I didnt buy a gt because its almost 10k more...im a single income dad with 3 kids and a expedition im still paying for...i just couldnt swing it. Even still, i love my v6...its faster than any of the gt cars ive had in the past...and i like the challenge, and i like beeing differnt..since not many guys are going the v6 route with the s550
Amen dude! Dad of 2 here. First performance car since before I was married. I have a V6. It's the most powerful car I have ever owned. And for the OP, if that were my insurance quotes I would ride the bus! And chasing power in an EB or V6. A few hundred to spend, have fun, but a few thousand? Stupid, get a GT or enjoy the EB or V6. My choice is V6 over EB anyday. Unless you are a turbo modder and warranty does not matter then have fun with it. I love the EB, I just wouldn't own one for myself. I like boring reliable truck motor in mine.
