V6 ENGINE COVER?

My issue with the current V6 engine is how incredibly plain the engine looks as compared to the "Eco" and V8. I mean really- they can make these nice covers for the other engines but no love from Ford for the V6.

I am wondering if there are any companies out there thinking of making a dress up cover for the V6 . Since 25% of all Mustangs currently sold are V6's I would imagine the aftermarket would be interested in making parts to dress up this motor. It's a great engine with lots of performance potential and I've seen headers, intakes, exhaust systems and the like being made for it. Why not a nice engine dress up kit as well? :ford:

I've seen that but it's a modified cover from the previous car. I'm talking about one that will fit with no modifications and come in accent colors or have different styling.. Thanks though for posting the link :clap2:

The modifications are really as simple as making a few incisions and ensure that the tubes fit underneath nicely. Regarding other manufacturers, I don't want to put words in their mouths, but I sincerely doubt we'll see any other covers for the 3.7L if history is any indication.

Otherwise I'm sure you could somewhat easily make your own if you have a creative streak.

I agree with Reaper here. A 3.7l engine cover would have a very niche market. Almost to the point of it not being worth the time to develop. You would be waiting a very long time if at all for one to be developed. Your best bet is to adapt the S197 engine cover if you want one.
