FWIW those are the same character. The burglar dressed up as a cop to case homes. Undoubtedly because he was previously rebuffed when he asked to enter after identifying himself as a burglar.

Of course he does. It would be quite strange if he didn't, since the "cop" is actually the burglar in disguise.

When they were working on the movie idiocracy, they asked the costume designer to find goofy yet futuristic looking shoes to have people wear. They found a small company and decided that their shoes looked so stupid that Nobody in their right mind would ever wear them.
After some time they were asked what would happen if the shoe brand suddenly took off, and they answered that there's no way people would seriously buy these.

The brand was Crocs

Yeah. That doesn't mean they were wrong about the crocs, though. It just goes to show that the amount of stupidity and bad taste in the world is infinite.

Today a lot of sports teams play their games in arenas and coliseums. The words “Arena” and “Colisseum” both have roots reaching back to the Colisseum in Rome. The word arena translates to sand. The use of the word as a place for sports and entertainment arose from sand being the floor surface in the Colisseum. The Colisseum itself was not called that when it was in use. It was originally called the Amphitheatre at Flavius The name “Colisseum” was more of a location description and a reference to the building’s proximity to a 30 meter tall statue, the Colossus of Nero, which stood next to the Amphitheatre.

Denny McLain was a pitcher with the Detroit Tigers. During and especially after his career in Detroit he had some…ummm…issues. He was convicted of racketeering, extortion, bribery, drug trafficking, mail fraud, money laundering and various conspiracies. He was sentenced to 23 years in prison. I can’t recall how much of that he actually served. Denny’s dodged a bullet.

In 1958, pilots Robert Timm and John Cook set the record for the longest continuous flight in a Cessna 172, staying airborne for 64 days, 22 hours, and 19 minutes without landing. They took off on December 4, 1958, and finally landed on February 7, 1959, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
