urgent connector info (wiring)

i need info about the part number for connector C1673, fuel injection pump (DI). part number on the plug wasnt super helpful. the issue is the jumper from xdi wont lock in place to the engine harness.

nvm,, i filed the locking tab ramp a little bit and it locked

If you still need the connector contact PigTails.com along with images of the connector. Front, back, & sides. I've bought several connectors from them for various cars and they have most, if not all, of the modern weather-pack style connectors. They're the best source I've found for connector shells. They're a little pricey but if you can't find the connector anywhere else they can help. You will be able to de-populate the pins from your connector shell and transfer them to the new connector shell. If it still won't seat & latch you have other problems.

Oh, 1 other thing ... I had a miserable time seating one of the connectors under the driver's seat on my car after replacing the Evaporator. I had to use a pair of channel lock pliers to force the connector together. I believe the problem was the weather seal at the bottom of the connector. My weather seal was green yours appears to be orange in the image above. I suspect the problem is that this seal must be compressed in order to allow the connector to seat so you can lock the latch. No idea why it takes so much force to seat these seals. Most likely tolerances in order to insure a weather tight seal.
