This is a very high quality oil separator, model 5030-98-1 indicates the black color I ordered. The longer hoses and cooler mounting location behind the front passenger headlight
is suppose to cool the oil vapors better, and its capacity is slightly larger.
The filtering technology is the same as the 5028 and below is a 10% discount for club members that I used to purchase mine.....

Here the link for the 5030-98 installation:

Joe's earlier response.....
The 5028-98 is a 2" x 6" and mounts right off the front of the engine. The 5030-98 is a 2.5" x 6" and it mounts remotely behind right behind the passenger side headlight and will outperform the 5028-98 with the greatest of ease and is what I personally run on all my vehicles. I always want the longer lines and the cooler mounting location to be able to separate oil better without leaving anything on the table.

If you have any other questions feel free to message me anytime.

The 10% off code for purchasing a catch can with is ( CLUB15 )

Thank you, Joe

Yes I want to buy one of these to, but like you said I did know what's the difference between the two. I know the one has longer hoses and is farther away to maybe cool it down better. There's a $50 difference. Here a link

So I'm wanting the "15 Mustang GT Single Valve Oil Catch Can Separator", model 5030-98.

On the ordering link, I see a $40 option described as: "Pro Series Vent Hose". What is that exactly?

Also, there is one finish called "satin" ... so I'm assuming satin black? Anodized or painted"?
I'm assuming the "black" one is more gloss black (painted or anodized)?

I'm not positive on the exact colors. But I believe the pro serious is just a hoses line that on the driver side. It's just to make the driver side look better with having the same type of hose going into the caught can.

I have decided to make a simple bracket that will allow adjust-ability and cost only a few dollars to throw together so when everyone upgrades the only true cost is all the new lines, fittings and one way valve.

I will have something together tomorrow to show you.

I installed mine at the dealership with 1.9 miles on the car. Have not checked yet, but looks cute.

Relocation kits for the 5028-98 will be available Monday.
