The funny thing is, a local dealer to me, has the exact same car I ordered just a different color (my second choice), and is willing to sell it to me for the same price as the dealer I ordered through. Just would have to work out a trade agreement.

This dealer's car is expected to arrive by the end of the month. Where my car, isn't expected until November. Decisions, decisions.

Standard Retail (I'll pay ~$1,200 under invoice)
Under invoice or under MSRP? So you found a dealer to sell you a $35,560 car for $32,110? Or did you find a dealer to sell you a $35,560 car for $34,360?

What dealer is this so we can all re-order from this soon to be out of business dealer.

Like they say, if it sounds too good to be true, its not.

Sounds way off.

A mustang that stickers for $43000 has an invoice of $40500.
Even a ford employee A-plan customer would'nt pay $38100 on a $43000 mustang. A-plan on a $43390 Mustang I just looked up , is $38950. Invoice is $40596.

So if you're paying $38100 , $300 below invoice , that would be on a Mustang that stickers for $41000. Unless you're talking about a 2014 with $3000 rebate.

Your post has zero truths in it.

2015 401A/50th/ESP/RP/ACC/NAV MSRP's at $ 36,000 + Options = $42,995 (Close as I could get to $43ish)
X-Plan + Options = $40,351
Invoice + Options = $40,265
INVOICE + Options + (-300) = $39,965

$2,165 below invoice? Please :help: explain this to me.

$36,465 MSRP

$32,947 is what I am paying (+tax, tags, title)

So yes, a big discount (~10% off MSRP and ~4% under invoice)

Your dealer must be VERY desperate to LOSE money only to sell the hottest Ford car of the year.

MSRP of $36500
Has an invoice of $34200 and a hold back of $1080
A-plan would be $32900. Which keep in mind for a true Aplan deal ford gets around $2200.
So why would a dealer want to LOSE roughly $300 just to sell a mustang that he could easily sell at invoice and make a $1000?
Do you have a trade ?

I do have a trade, but that has no bearing on my price as they don't even know what I am trading -- they didn't ask. I'll make money on my trade too and this will be even a better deal.

I have USAA, have x-plan pin and bought 2 cars in the past there.

I don't think they are desperate. They are a fairly high volume dealer that got allocated 3 LEs to sell.

your pin means nothing if they sell the vehicle to you a penny below Xplan. Xplan only gets validated and paid by ford when charged eye EXACT amount as stated on invoice. There is no actual USSA discount either and if there was , it wouldn't be compatible with Xplan. You could have a military appreciation rebate of $500.
High volume dealers don't LOSE money on deals. If they sell it to you as Aplan , they're losing money unless they under allow on your trade.

I didn't get x-plan pricing so you're correct, it will have no bearing. But they did match my USAA price from USAA's car buying service. Please stop telling me what I didn't get. I have the paperwork and it's signed. I really don't need to prove anything.

I could NOT trade my current vehicle and I'll still get the same deal. And if they try to under allow on my trade, I'll just take it to Carmax.

Not once did I accuse you for lying or asking for proof. All I said is I can't believe a dealer would be desperate to LOSE money on a deal, specially on a 2015 Mustang. I've been long enough in business to know the ins and outs and it still baffles me when a dealer would lose money on hot items just to move iron.

Well I guess I misread into it. It is just text on the Internet, but people do tend to get accusatory.

I am ecstatic with the deal I got and look forward to the car! :ford:

Well I am very eager to follow along with this transaction. Good luck with that. I vote for Not Ever Happening. The dealer would lose money on this deal. Dealers do not operate with that business model. Nothing against you personally, I know it looks like we are attacking you, we are not, we are looking out for you because this deal won't happen, the numbers will add up for the dealer, they may just move them around for your benefit. A dealer that sells one Mustang pays the same as the dealer that sells 100. Someone is lying and we don't think it's you.

Kind of hard for them to deny a USAA price AND I have signed paperwork. Their right to work with USAA and their affiliates will go bye-bye if they try to pull something. I am not sure that's something they'd want. The dealer is in contact with me every week so I am just about certain I'll get the car for that price.

Everything is laid out in my contract including tax, tags and title. There are no ways they will move around this.
