Looks very fast. Sounds very boring. There's just not a car out there that I would've spent $60K on until the GT350. I don't care if it's the fastest, it's still the coolest IMO.

ZL1 or whatever will have the LT4. Blah.

Wouldn't necessarily say the coolest.. The 350 is blah. It just has the sexy looks and the FPC which makes it unique.

All other manufacturers have much cooler tech. And the LT4 sounds sexy with exhaust or with an open valve

That's why I said "IMO". The GT350 is the car for me. High powered NA is my thing, not FI.

Looks like quite the performer. Pushed the turn a little hard in one of those first few clips, but seemed solid. I'm guessing this will sit between the R and the Z06 Vette if they make it hook up right, or right around the R if it has too much power for that platform. Seeing as the CTS-V is based on that platform too, and already has that LT4, it may be able to hold together well.

The 350 will still have that exotic edge though.

Ehhh I think the 1LE is more appropriate competition for the GT350. Both are NA and track focused. Not to mention the 1LE will probably come in around $50k with the added track-capable hardware. Let the GT500 replacement take care of the ZL1 (which will likely come in around $65k).

That 1LE is going to walk all over the Shelby.. Just bench racing since the current Camaro is already quicker.

It's going to go the same in a straight line as a regular SS, so it won't beat the Shelby any worse than normal in a drag race.

I'm wondering if it's actually going to be quicker around the track than a Z51. We already know that the GT350 is very close to the Z51. Corvette people would be so happy if the Camaro SS with a track package beats their Vette with a track package.
