“Not all of the retractions were cutting against the establishment narrative surrounding COVID-19. One paper was retracted for falsely claiming that the vast majority of COVID-19 deaths in the United States were due to other comorbidities, according to Science Direct.”

Hello; Another very interesting story I would like to have more information about. I do not have a take about the accuracy of the story, but I am confident there is little recourse if it turns out to be true. The shots had no liability attached to them. The makers of the vaccines, the hospitals & clinics and those actually administrating the shots are free of liability.

Interesting thing is I and a few others kept harping on the experimental nature of the shots and the lack of attached liability for over two years.

“Emails obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request show that CDC Director Rochelle Walensky and former NIH Director Francis Collins were aware of, and discussed, “breakthrough cases” of COVID in January 2021 — right when the vaccines became widely available. “… “and assures the person she is sending it to that Dr. Anthony Fauci is looped into these conversations.”

“…in public, Walensky was saying something quite different. Two months after discussing this data, she said vaccinated people “don’t carry the virus” and “don’t get sick.” In a congressional hearing, after it became clear people were able to get infected with COVID even after receiving the vaccine, she defended her original statements by claiming it was true at the time she said it.”

Hello; my comments- Statement true at the time she said it reminds me of the way Gregs tried to account for his backing the wrong horse during the Covid back and forth on this site. I called it the “heads I win tails you lose” Gregs used at the time.

Some may recall he tried to say the stance several of us took early on, which turned out to be correct, about natural immunity, vaccines or masks were according to him “wrong” because we went against the official dogma of the moment. That he was correct in his stance of the moment, which turned out to be wrong, because he supported the dogma of the moment.

I had thought he was making an attempt to be clever with that play on words, but perhaps he merely “got the memo” and copied instructions.

“But the fact vaccine mandates were pushed, even though those in charge knew people could contract and spread the virus while vaccinated, is indefensible. That they mislead the public on this makes it even worse.”

Hello; my comments- Yes to this. I will add they fully expect to just walk away without consequence from their deceptions.

Hello; Well, this is news but not really a new bit of information. Overcounting was called out by many on this forum many times.
I do wonder if the overcount percentage will stay as low as 30%.

Hello; If 1,000,000 deaths were reported as due to Covid back in the day then the new number would be around 666,000 700,000 due directly to Covid. 333,000 300,000due to something other than Covid.

There are several points to me gleaned from these various late in the day revelations from the pandemic era. I must figure you had a point to the question.

Thanks. The math equation is clear. Your post just made me wonder how many deaths there were in the population being considered if you reduce it by 30%. That will tell us how big a deal COVID was in hindsight and what we can learn for future situations.

No hidden point to the question. Couldn't care less about the politics of it or media outlets that quote themselves and each other to sell their product.

Hello; Not sure what to make of this event. Not a big deal to be sure, but a suprise. Stopped in at a Hardees to use the facilities and get a cup of coffee around 3;30 PM in the afternoon. I was told they did not serve coffee except with breakfast. None the rest of the day.

I have stopped at Hardees for coffee for decades. First time i ever heard of this.
