Unidentified Black box?

Hi everyone,

I was working on my mustang and found this zip tied and attached to my port.
It looks to be a low jack or data recorder. All of my searches come up empty, I was wondering if anyone here could be of assistance in identifying this. I have attached two images.

Looks like a gps. Did you buy the car new? Dealerships, insurance companies, rental car companies and maybe parents use them to see how the car is driven.

I got the car used, I am leaning towards this was a GPS/DATA logging device that was installed by the previous owner and never removed. I just can't find the company (M-labs) or the device online. Which is a are occurrence for me. TY again for the reply.
