Why, oh why were you out in your Mustang on a rainy day? These cars need washed weekly when the weather is perfect let alone in the rain. Oh the horrors!

I'll save you the aneurysm and won't post a picture of my car right now with all the salt stains on the lower half of the body, or at least what's left of it after all the rain we had yesterday.

Lol so today was a very rainy day and i was a little bit too aggressive coming off the clutch and the car did a burn out lol normally if it spins I'd come off the throttle but decided to just stay in it and send it.

Car did a nice burnout through all of 1st, caught 2nd then stayed under the speed limit.

It's random stuff like this i love about these cars... They're always down to party. And make even the most boring commute fun. I love that TCS is just like "he alright, send it bro" I like that these cars egg you on sometimes

I have a special country road I take, if it's raining.
Tossing the ass-end out and seeing when the ECU pulls it back in was part of me learning my cars. Certain sections I've been able to drift for years... each car has been different. (The reason I can't own a RS and why I miss my BMW)

You have to learn the car's throttle control.... which makes NA cars 10x easier to modulate. But "funner" with low tq turbos...

kudos!

Do you drift in 1st, 3rd, or 5th?

I come off looking like Ricky Bobby everytime I try to make a quick left from a light. I just pretend like I meant to spin out and fishtail and go with it. Add in a who hoo for good measure.

I have this effect when pulling away from a stop to cross two Left-To-Right lanes and a painted center turn lane/island, to join traffic in two Right-To-Left lanes. It happens so consistently I thought it was a 2018 Ford Mustang GT design feature. "Woo Hoo" is especially sweet with such a big smile.

I have to confess there's been a couple nights once the temps got just a little low for my Pirellis. The car is in Sport+ mode & I'm digging the sound of the Coyote so you know I roll into the throttle because Mustang... and all of a sudden the ass end kicks out to the right as rear drives seem to do (Camaro SS was the same) and I have a bit of a holy shit moment that is two parts exhilaration & one part borderline underwear change lol. And in that moment I promise myself I must be more careful but of course I do it again the following week and make the same pledge to myself again. I love this car!

Blue Moon, I sure am glad I moved away from that winter stuff a long, long time ago. You need a beater!

Agreed, rain driving is great. Long Island drivers who act like they've never seen water fall from the sky, not so much.
It's no different here buddy..FYI.
