Lol so today was a very rainy day and i was a little bit too aggressive coming off the clutch and the car did a burn out lol normally if it spins I'd come off the throttle but decided to just stay in it and send it.

Car did a nice burnout through all of 1st, caught 2nd then stayed under the speed limit.

It's random stuff like this i love about these cars... They're always down to party. And make even the most boring commute fun. I love that TCS is just like "he alright, send it bro" I like that these cars egg you on sometimes

Yeahhhhhh, in the rain, not doing that. Driving in the dark, in the rain, got clear of some traffic and hit the "resume" button on my CC. You might know the CC on old Cobras was a bit dicey. It popped the throttle to speed back up and promptly put it in a fish-tail. Somehow found the composure to tap the brake to shut off the CC and steered through it - cars on either side of me. It was scary.

Why, oh why were you out in your Mustang on a rainy day? These cars need washed weekly when the weather is perfect let alone in the rain. Oh the horrors!

It was my DD. The '16 GT is, now, and it goes when I need it, no matter the weather. Sometimes ya just gotta go in the rain :frown:

I used to have a new edge... Yeah those cars were batshit crazy in the rain... These young S550 owners won't understand the struggle lol

These young S550 owners may also not have any experience with a direct mechanical gas pedal, either, considering they haven't been in a Stang since 2004. Launch control? WTF is that? It goes how you stomp it. Did I mention the fish tail was in 6th gear at 70 mph?

Lol i tell people all the time Mustangs have personalities. The s550 is a beautiful girl next door type thats into kinky shit. But for the most part you can trust her to never hurt you...

The s197 is a really soul full woman that has a bad temper and will murder you if you piss her off.

The old New edge is a stripper with a cocaine habbit that just discovered crystal meth...

Especially in the rain that car would be going down a straight road, just get bored and snap oversteer just because it wanted attention... I was happy as fuck when i traded that evil bitch in

...and that is why you never use cruise control on wet roads. Must have been fun removing the seat cushion from your butt cheeks! :cwl:

I must be in the minority. I can't get my Mustang to do a burn out let alone surprise me with one.

I suppose one day if the TC and torque management failed I'd have to learn to drive a 460 HP RWD car. Until then point, aim, shoot, and shift.

Maybe I'll turn off the TC once to see what the fuss is about.

And the '70 Mach 1 is like my best friend's Mom who I desperately wanted to fuck during my HS years 35 years ago? I thought she was something else back 'n the day..., today, not so much. :lipssealed:

You must have an 18+ my car has the super close gear ratios with the 3.73 so it loves spinning and hanging it's tail out.

More fun when you accidentally do it when it’s dry out and you’re trying to pass someone at 60mph lmao
