I have a base model GT, so I knew the interior wasn't going to be all that nice. But now I want to start replacing what I can with nicer stuff. I was wondering what resources everyone has found that offer nicer replacement pieces -- I am not opposed to overlays here and there, but I'd rather do replacements.

Here is what I found with a few quick searches:
  • Interior fabric
    • Redline Goods: Shift boots, eBrake boots, kneepad overs, armrest covers and more. Very customizable.
    • Leatherseats.com: Seat covers, door insert covers
      • Many other seat cover companies out there too
  • Shifter
  • Steering Wheels
    • Lots of options here, even some eBay stores look good
  • Interior Knobs/Trim bits
    • 5 Spurs: Very pricey for some reason
  • Infotainment
    • Factory 8" screen upgrade or a few aftermarket option
    • The digital gauge cluster would be a big step up. Any OEM retailer would have it.
What I am mainly looking for is a nicer replacement for:
  • Armrest switch cover - the piece that contains the window controls. It feels so cheap.
  • Door handle and surround - another cheap feeling part.
  • Door handle grip - creaky and "thin" feeling
  • The narrow trim piece above the glovebox that holds the Mustang badge or special edition badges
I am not opposed to carbon fiber replacements, but for me, a little bit of CF goes a long way. I'd rather have another material/finish if available.

What have you found that was a nice, quality replacement for some of the cheaper interior parts?

There are a few good looking well fitting seat covers I come across. Kustominteror has some really nice super tight fitting covers, friend got them.

For upgradeing the infotainment system lots of people have like the Dynavin set up. (That's on my list this summer)

I had just replaced my base door, shift boot and center console panels with the OEM premium blue stiched ones and they look fabulous.

New OEM leather seat shells go for about $500 and they look sweet as well.

The knobs from 5Spurs while pricey, they do look nice.

PP gauges give a nice touch as well.

Sync 3 is a must and finally OEM illuminated door sills, cup holders and foot well is the cherry on top. I don’t have myColour but all can be wired.

A nice steering wheel like the OEM GT350 wheel and a digital cluster will really make the interior shine.

All can be found on ebay.

In my case, I realized all this takes time and money and didn’t want to shell out money all at once. It took me about 2 years to buy and DIY it

Also looking for a way to upgrade some of the hard scratchy plastics, specifically the window switch bezel trim pieces on the doors like you mentioned

I’ve seen several carbon fiber replacements for those trim pieces, but not loving the idea of overdoing it with the carbon.

Would be great if there was a solution that was either a soft touch material or just a higher quality plastic.

Be nice. Seems Ford could un-expensify the Base GT 300A. Maybe put at least a 3.31 ratio axle as basics for A10 and MT 82.
