Here finally the promised pictures, almost forgotten...

2013732 / GR3Z-6304104-HB clean RHD sun visor

(The make-up mirror is of course also illuminated.)

So to be clear the sun visor shown is the Euro-spec one without the air bag labels and is a direct fit/swap for a US “passenger” side? Do I have that correct?

And as far as the HomeLink:
Couldn’t the HomeLink be removed from the now “donor” visor and be reinstalled/retro-fit to the “new” Euro visor that may work on the US Driver side?

What I have done is to fit a sun visor from a RHD UK vehicle (?I expect this is EU spec?) to my LHD EU vehicle.

The RHD UK vehicles have a sun visor without a label installed from factory on the right side (LHD passenger side).

My LHD EU vehicle has a sun visor without label installed from factory on the left side (LHD driver side).

If you have a US vehicle, there seem to be labels on the driver and passenger side, and HomeLink on the driver side?

What will definitely work is to use the RHD EU/UK driver sun visor and the LHD EU driver sun visor.
Then you have at least no more label.

Whether you can still somehow attach HomeLink to the LHD EU driver's sun visor, you would have to try, there is certainly a way.
You'd have to get hold of a cheap/used/defective HomeLink sun visor and exploid it to gain knowledge.

If @WD Pro has confirmed the part number from my VIN for his vehicle, then you just need to order mine and his part number.
I assume that he will have a US part number on the packaging in addition to the EU part number, too.

PS: The Homelink topic would also be of interest to me, because I have electric garage doors, and currently always have to deal with the hand remote, annoying!
However, the parts are difficult to obtain here in the EU.

My parts guy is taking his time with this one (he’s normally very quick) …

I might be semi interested in the homelink (if it was easy and cheap) as I have a electric gate and garage door. I put homelink on my daily (Sportage - it just needed the American rear view mirror) only to find that my gate (some Italian controller) won’t work with it without some additional equipment and my garage door (which I’m not sure I want to work with it) won’t work anyway, so I gave up … lol.

As the mustang isn’t my daily, I'm not convinced it’s worth the hassle … :like:

Found by accident a solution for my Chamberlain garage door drive yesterday: http://www.funk-handsendershop.de/TKL-CAR
Remote is powered by and pluged into the cigarette lighter.
I will give it a try.

Well it took a while, but as my parts guy hadn’t got back to me I had the chance to call in on Saturday and chase this up.

Turns out my guy (who was responsible for two dealerships and had been there for 25+ years) left quite suddenly and took a promotion at Jaguar Land Rover … :frown:

Anyhow, I can confirm that the LHD ‘blank’ euro visor is available in the UK (currently on an estimated 15 day lead-time) and the part number provided by @Nightmonkey is correct :like:

The part number and description as it appears on my quote is :

F2013732 N/STK VISOR ASSY – S

Hope that helps !

Thanks, that are great news!
Are there US part numbers for the left clean sun visor on your packaging as well?

!confirmed, exept US#!
For LHD:
2164070 Sun visor RHD right (US# GR3Z-6304104-HB)
2080229 screw cover (in most cases unnecessary, both sides the same)

For RHD:
2013732 Sun visor LHD left (US# ?)
2080229 screw cover (in most cases unnecessary, both sides the same)

I haven't ordered - I'm still sat on the wall ... lol

I'm trying to convince myself that the cost is worth the difference to my (forward facing decal removed and rearward facing decal covered) version ...

I’d love to see pictures and hear how hard they were to install. Good luck and thanks!

Install is a less than 30 min job.
Take a look at Youtube videos about removing the head liner.

@WD Pro Any update?

Not from me sorry, being without my mustang at the moment (it’s broken) this job is well down my list of priorities … :frown:
