benanderson89 Benfield have their demo! I'm FURIOUS, it was on the same boat as mine and for some unfathomable reason has been prioritised before mine. Whats even more galling is they have just left it outside, hasn't even been PDI'd yet & it arrived Tuesday. Told Pierre to get it sorted and i'm taking it out next week. He specifically said months ago if they got their demo before mine he'd let me know so i could take it out.
That IS a whole load of horse-bull, IMHO.

At this rate I think I might actually get my 'stang serviced at Kwik Fit at this rate - it'd probably have less go wrong.

On the plus side, I'm now going to the dealership tomorrow to get a spin in it (or at least sit in it if its not a test-drive vehicle).

EDIT: Ooop!
On the Benfield Sunderland facebook page. AND Its to actually drive - not just a show car!

Agree, need more photos, especially of the interior. Also need a description of the quality of the interior ie what parts are soft and what parts are hard.

Thats weird, I work for Haynes Ford / Kent Mustang, our demo is in the same wave 1 of demo builds but not due to arrive till Dec 19th. Yet customer orders have earlier delivery dates and are arriving first. Weird how the demos arrive separately from each other!

I've just been to see it this morning.
I'll get some better photos when I go with my dad and my brother-in-law this afternoon.

In the meantime, have a video of the car singing a perfect 10.

Big_G is right that its not ready to go out for customer drive's yet. The car is ready but they don't have the proper insurance. In the meantime feel free to ask me what bits of info you want me to find out.

Pointless asking what I want to know since he's clueless. I'm still absolutely furious

Thanks, look forward to seeing them.

Looking at your video it appears the RHD Custom pack cars still get the cheaper (with fake stitching) dash, yet the LHD (Euro) Custom pack cars get the real leather/stitching dash. So it looks like Ford are giving all RHD cars the cheaper dash.

I meant find out as in what the forum wants to know about the interior. I should've been more clear on that one.

Mustang demonstrators are not going to have an easy life, are they? :headbang:
Indeed - the water temp gauge is showing "cold"... ouch!

That was the information from one of Andy Barrett's guys - one trim level for RHD cars. Don't think it was stated if this was specifically UK RHDs but i'd assume it was all RHDs.
I can understand that with a relatively small market for RHD models they may not want to manufacture different levels of interiors. Would have been nice if they'd gone for the upgraded trim though and maybe dropped something we could add ourselves if we wanted to keep the costs the same. Royal pain in the t*ts having to swap out a dash

Given the relatively small RHD volumes, I am not surprised it is the "same" interior regardless of custom pack or not. I guess Europe LHD gets the same interior as the US market, so easier for them to offer a different trim level over there.
