I am really glad you guys and gals are beginning to get your cars. All I can say is that it is truly an incredible car and so much fun to drive. It drives great and when you do get your, the car just looks bitichin coming down the road. I wish you all very happy moments.

Just got outta bed and was hoping to see the first pics of UK RHD deliveries!

Will check again when I get to work.

It feels like Christmas morning for some reason.

benanderson89 Benfield have their demo! I'm FURIOUS, it was on the same boat as mine and for some unfathomable reason has been prioritised before mine. Whats even more galling is they have just left it outside, hasn't even been PDI'd yet & it arrived Tuesday. Told Pierre to get it sorted and i'm taking it out next week. He specifically said months ago if they got their demo before mine he'd let me know so i could take it out.

Looks great Randy - Race Red is an awesome colour for this car!

I see that it got the wonky rear glass, though. How was the rest of the fit/finish?

In my opinion and what we are paying for these beasts, the build quality felt quite good and far superior to the Monaro that I had, and that faired well in the 6 years that I had it :headbang:

Can we try and get a picture of the mustang near and M4 or a 4 series to see size comparisons, I know it's about 6" longer and wider etc but hard to visualise,

I would really appreciate it if someone could o that for me :*

Welcome :) thanks for the photo. That is truly a great colour...

One question springs to mind - what is the deal with the number plates being fitted? Assuming those massive plastic frames come with the car? Would dealers fix number plates directly to the bumper if requested? I haven't got a bracket which would remove the need for drilling holes but I think I would prefer the no plate attached directly to the bumper...
The plates come with the car. The front one is shocking so I'm going to just double side tap the front one.

Ask your wife/girlfriend - she will tell you if your 6" are significant!

(Sorry - couldn't resist the obvious joke!)

I currently have a Citroen C5 which is a "large" family saloon and is the same dimensions to within an inch as the mustang so I am fortunate to be used to the size, but it will be different driving it a lot lower... The mondeo must be similar. I guess.

I discussed this with my dealer today. There is set of black plastic mount kits in the boot and he said if i didn't want them fitted that was fine and they don't have to use them. In my mind, i have square plates front and rear and he confirmed that's OK (using sticky pads for mounting).

I've also discussed that they do not prep the car and to leave that to me. My dealer so far seems fairly flexible, all he wants from me is a list of "do's and don'ts" prior collection. Not having polish on it is crucial prior the stripes being fitted!
