Bronze, just read your mods list, theres a 350R steering wheel for sale in the classifieds at a way cheaper than usual price if you want to pick it up :).

Anyway, back on topic!!!!

7-10months is the current predictions for cars, now, this is complete speculation as no RHD MY17's have gone into production yet, however, earliest you could see your cars is December (at a guess), latest would probably be April next year (again, at a guess).

I'd assume ford will continue to refine their processes with the RHD cars and get a more consistent flow now they can guess the order patterns of buyers on 1+ years data.
Thanks buddy, seen the wheel in classifieds, but going for the 350 wheel for the white stitching.

I'm hoping for December, but expecting new year sometime. I've already got some of my mods on the way, I'll have to attach them to some cardboard boxes in the garage and play at being a new Mustang owner for a few months

Torture.

More time to plan the mods. My car is going to end up with more aftermarket parts than Cher....
Most of ours already do...:lol::lol:! except less plastic ;)!

I nearly made the mistake of trying to order from my local Ford garage in Hamilton where the dealer said they are not an approved dealer for Mustang but they will get it done anyways. Asked then who was, told me it was Evans Halshaw so I could go either to Glasgow or Motherwell branch. So off to Motherwell it was - closest. Did mail Stacey at some point last month and she sent me a screenshot of my order in the system - with all the correct bit as I ordered.:amen:[/QUi
my gt should be here early next week evans halshaw have know told me car will be leaving Southampton today via Liverpool then Glasgow and wont be stopping off at eurocentral......by the way I stay very near your hometown........:D

Well hello everyone. I've enjoyed reading all your tales. Just going to throw my hat in and say I ordered my GT first week of April when the 2017 book opened (just to get Sync 3 really). The dealer reckoned December and I've gone from hoping it comes as quickly as possible, to hoping it takes its time so that it's less of drag to hold off registering it until April 1st when the VED bands change.

Yes, I'm going to do that. It's going to be a horrible wait, but if I can last it out, that's basically the equivalent of free insurance for me every year. Three months of pain for years of gain... Won't be easy though.

I've got questions about whether the dealer options (service plan etc.) are worth it and where the good Mustang service specialists are in the south of England, but that can all wait for now. Good luck to us all...
Welcome buddy.

Where in Sussex are you?
Not sure where your nearest specialist will be but would strongly avoid using the dealers as they don't seem to have a clue what they are doing, and pricing varies from dealer to dealer.
I will be using Modurstang as they get a good write up but it will be a day out for me to go, but I'm used to doing that now.

Good luck with the wait, will see how strong you are if the car is at the dealers in December and you holding off for 3 months!

Don't want to alarm everyone but I think the World has slowed down in it's rotation. Only reason why the last few days has gone SO incredibly slow!

Since the 22nd actually.

Strange coincidence that my car arrived in Zeebrugge that day :frusty::frusty:

On the bright side, that means that they'll have had plenty of time for Stevie Wonder to underseal our cars and get them booked on the boat to Southampton :D

Indeed. One small ray of misplaced sunshine (or underseal) on an otherwise dull day :D

Hi everyone, I'm really enjoying reading everyones experiences of driving their new Mustangs. I ordered mine during the last week of March. The dealer, Bristol Street, in Stoke On Trent confirmed that it was a 9 to 12 month wait. I stipulated I did not want delivery and registration until 01/04/17 to take advantage of the new tax with it being a V8. They agreed and said it was unlikely to arrive before early next year and they'd happily not register until April. Whilst not wanting to wish my life away I can't wait to get behind the wheel. In the meantime I'll keep reading the forum.

Nice colour combo!

(They may want you to pay for it when it arrives though!)

Dark? That's bright. I handed back my company car in March 2014 and switched jobs and started using public transport. Not owned a car since as been waiting for this. Have to borrow my wife's Kia on weekends if she doesn't need it lol.
