if he was bothered.
This is the issue, most of them just are not bothered, dealers are used to few week relationships, not long term relationship management, think I mentioned this before. It's no surprise fords next step up (the GT) is handled by far different bunch of 'dealers' rather than the nonces most of us have had for our mustangs, which overall, is leaving a bad stain on the current experience, (Even though we'll all forget afterwards, but would be nice to rant and have them change it for the future mustang brothers).

I think contract date for everyone else before May was 27th May (ish?). This is well out of order and a breach of contract.

Get the company info from companies house and deal direct with the owner/director. let it be known that you will pursue through the courts if not satisfied. Simultaneous enquiry to Andy Barrett to ask what can be done to rectify.

I'm with SteveS on this Ian Magnetic i'd be raging over this, they sat on your deposit for 10 months before even placing the order! That's absolutley absurd, off you pop, have a rage at them, andy, etc, whoever you want, it's worth a well worded complaint.
YLA G don't worry it'll have a red EB FB there soon to chill with, what they drinking mate, Lets get em some Captain Morgan to sip on

Just had my test drive and also seen my actual car. The bonnet view from inside is huge, but it does not feel that wide. Drove really nice and plenty of power on tap, had the back end twitching in 2nd.

Looking forward to the 1st March..

Look forward to hearing how they plan to rectify this. Really sh1t it's not there for your 50th, it shoulda been there for like Jan-March '16 time if they'd done it right. Bloody imbecilies these days :frusty:
YLA G I think that PuppymonkeyBaby is what is making, running, shipping and all that with our cars, especially in the docks!

Exactly the same for me. Order placed 15th April, contracted Aug 28th after chasing for news :(

Karen did what she could to speed up build when I let Andy B and her know how I felt about it (politely - letting rip will get you nowhere and ultimately they are picking up the pieces of someone elses mistake). It was finally built Jan 12th, now gate released and waiting to see what ship it will be on?

I know that this was the case for at least 10 other orders at the dealership where they'd simple been forgotten about and were sat in a pile of paper on the salesman's desk (now unurprisingly no longer with said dealer).

Utterly unnacceptable - but what can you do?

The only solace was that the dealer has to honour the original price to customers and has to cover the increase from Ford themselves.

How far are you from reading? Get a letter written up and take it to their open evening and hand it too Andy personally. Kick up a fuss on their promotion night and something might get sorted quickly.

In fact if you mention to him that you may be coming to the open evening to have a public moan about it he may do something.

I would suggest that if you do that to Andy you will screw any chance of him sorting you out.

If you pissed him off what are you gonna do, complain to his boss in the States?

Andy, will help out if he can but you dont need to scream and moan at him in public for that.

Just my opinion btw but I speak from experience of having dealt with him for quite a while
