Ouch that's nasty! my guess is this stockist went to a 'mustang specialist' dealer and placed the order for you, no doubt far after you'd ordered, useless mugs!
It's unfortunatley the ford way, the dealership he's ordered from wont take the order, it'll be a ford:ford sale and then a ford:Ian sale, which means they probably care less, cr4p customer service from your dealership mate, i'd be raging at them, nobody elses fault, if they put it through late, go for them, if they put it through same day and the other dealership placed the order late - take it out on them

Infact, Ian, if you're really annoyed, just go and complain to Andy Barratt, dish the dirt on the dealer whos fault it was, see what compensation you can get. :lol::ford:
Same thing happened to me and my deposit was with a Ford Store! They sat on it for 4 months and did nothing :(
Not stacey specifically, but they weren't replying to my emails all last week (Emails being, one.) I sent them a quick chaser (Them being [email protected]) got a reply literally within minutes informing my car was built 02/02/16 and gate released 04/02/16 and would be moving to Baltimore next. Was signed off 'Karen & Stacey' (Not quite Gavin and Stacey!) but looked like how Karen usually emails me

Right. Ford don't seem to have any connection (or sanctions) with their dealers other than TrustFord who they own. The dealer could do a lot to find an unsold or cancelled car from another dealer if he was bothered. Small claims for breach of contract if no compo is forthcoming.
