To give Ford a bit of credit, I got an unprompted email today from Stacey saying that my car was on its way to the docks, and should be allocated to a vessel in the next couple of weeks.

Great to get a useful update, plus it finally feels like the car is getting closer to being at sea!
I've got the same info on mine. UK dealer has it as 'at docks' for the last couple of weeks but according to Stacy it's 'in transit to docks' so hopefully it will be on it's way soon. BTW I ordered mine early April '15.

Emailing Stacy was useful as I now have a Vin and have printed my window sticker so it seems a little more tangible now; MY very own mustang is built :headbang:

Got an update from Deysha (requested) a short while ago. Apparently my car built 11.01.16 (according to ETIS) left for Baltimore and the docks on Sunday 17th.

Hopefully...
A) this is correct
B) other cars built last week are with it
C) it doesn't have to wait too long for a boat, aka "starkism" ;)
Need an official phrase for if its stuck at docks with no boat & no update. It's been "starked", Vista is showing a current status of "Jarvis" (have to connect a couple of dots to get that one :D)

Mine was built the day after (and have received confirmation of gate release) - so hopefully is on the same shipment! :)

My GT was built in the same date too - busy day for them!

So I guess they have a day of concentrating on the RHD cars. Do you think it's one day? Or a week. Shame they can't dedicate 2 weeks to RHD only and clear the back log. Can't remember how many cars they can build in a day but isn't it a lot?
They do 1/2 weeks focusing on RHDs, including australia, sometimes this week includes soem LHDs and what not. But to my knowledge RHD picks up and drops off.

Averages about 300 per day. Not gonna take long to chew through the backlog at that rate.

That's what I thought. I wonder how many uk cars haven't been built. In 2 weeks they could knock out 4200 cars! That should fulfill all outstanding uk orders right? Means pushing back the us and other countries cars by 2 weeks but their lead times are about 6 weeks.

They don't seem to be capable of shipping more than a handful of cars a week so knocking them out at that rate would make little difference.
