my family have owned plenty of Black cars…..swirl marks are a bitch and very visible in direct sunlight :( One of the reason I went with DIB. I originally wanted my Stang Black

I really like all 3 colors listed and DIB was the first color I saw in person at the Auto Show last year, but when I laid eyes on black with the PP for the first time it was all over. Yes it's a pain to keep clean, yes it's difficult to keep the paint from getting swirled, but IMO nothing beats it when it is clean. I've only had mine for a couple of weeks and I get a ton of compliments on it. Even the GM guys I know like it. It just looks mean.

I appreciate the myriad of comments and recommendations. This will be the toughest choice I have to make. One more trip to the dealer this weekend and see if I can make up my mind.

So it was bright and sunny today in Albuquerque and I made a trip to the dealer. I've decided that Ruby Red was the choice for me. The blue, while a solid choice, just didn't make my jaw drop like the Ruby Red does when in bright light. I definitely decided against the black when I saw the dealer model already had swirl marks in the clear coat. My current POS is black and I don't want to deal with that.

Thanks for all the input!

Great choice! A coworker of mine has a Ruby Red '14 and it looks fantastic in the sunlight. It just wasn't my style.

Ehh, just do a spur of the moment deal and grab the loudest color on the lot...lol. I ended up with TY...quite a departure from the DIB '13 I had.

LOL you have nothing to worry about. I don't live here and haven't purchased a car. I am ordering mine through ENCS (overseas military car sales) and I was visiting local dealers while I'm here for training. No beatings required! LOL :headbonk:

Black is the worst color. You can't keep it clean for more than 15 mins, it shows swirls and scratches, it gets hot in the sun and any imperfections are highlighted. 100% never buying black cars ever again.
well said....those effin swirl marks :frusty:

My vote is for RUBY RED !

I have a black 2014 GT I am trading in.

I love blue, but my 2014 GMC Sierra is a blue similar to DIB.

So, I decided to go with Ruby Red on the 2015 GT.

Anxiously awaiting delivery!
