Not quite - they don't come with Torsen differential - regardless of whether they're manual or stick. So it is not a full PP as in US.
Wrong.

We get the Torsen, at least in the V8.

And to address another issue.... I have LL enabled.

Fords of course
In Australia the inductor is on the right hand side of the steering wheel. We get no options except auto trans and nickel wheels. We don't get trim options and no subwoofer. Line lock is disabled due to our nanny state government and anti hoon laws.
At the end of the day still very happy that we get the Mustang in right hand drive

You sure it is a Torsen and not a Trac-Lok ? You have 3.55 gear ration vs. 3.71 on US PP. All Mustangs have LSDs, just not all of them are Torsens.

Nice! This is very interesting. If I lived in Europe, I think I'd've gone for a base model with some of those included PP upgrades instead of all the bells & whistles.

EU Manual V8's come with 3.73 gears and Torsen.
It's the full PP you get in the states minus the gauges on the dash.

I was absolutely convinced we had the Torsen (sure I saw the Brand name in the brochure last year)... but your post got me doubting.

After some research it does indeed turn out we get the Trak-Lok variant in the EU PPs.

Another :frusty: decision from Ford.

At least ive grown my Mustang beard a bit :)

No, they don't. They come with 3.55 and (see post above) Trak-Lok. No strut tower brace either.

We cont get line lock in Aus either :( and we dont get hood vents . i can install the Roush ones but then it voids the ford warranty for the hood. Its stupid because I've seen so many hood vents on other models -presumably there is the same pedestrian risk ?

Front lower grill is different to the US, always come with the ACC lower grill but without this option
Does this mean you can retrofit adaptive cruise control?
3. Depends on the country. In the UK and where I am (NL) there is zero issue in fitting a SC.
Do you have the time to explain? All dealers I have talked to refuse! What about the yearly emission control (OBD)? What about insurance? What about drivetrain warranty?

All EU models come with PP yet the US cannot order an auto car with it???

:(
Sure you can, an Ecoboost PP can be had with an automatic...the thinking there (on Ford's part) is probably that it is harder to outsmart a turbo engine. Haven't driven a Mustang auto yet, but if the paddle shifters have as much delay as Ford's other auto products in Sport mode, then I'd be one disappointed buyer.

The GT PP? No automatic there...

European cars;
  • Dont have Sync 3. New cars are still sold with Sync 2.
  • Dont have a 20" wheel option, all come with 19".
  • Dont have a supercharger option, and retrofitting one legally is practically impossible.

my Mustang is MY2017 and I have Sync 3. :clap2:

Supercharger in US also voids warranty. Absolutely no difference here and there are no supercharged Mustangs currently coming out of factory, ones out of Lebanon Ford are dealer installed.
