Is it okay to run the stock pirellis at the front, and a different branding of tires at the back (Continental Tire ExtremeContact Sport)?

Do you have any other recommendations besides the Continental Tire ExtremeContact Sport; I might track my car this year and I do some drag racing as well (not on the strip). I chose these tires due to the price and reviews.

You'll be fine with two different brands.

On the street, that's one thing, but if you're going to track it, running two different types of tires is not recommended. Some clubs won't even allow it.

Different tires just behave too differently at the limit, it can screw up the handling pretty bad. Just matching treadwear is not good enough :/
