Any recommendations on this? I'm not to keen on having a new car
repainted. It appears that something hit the front fascia, while the
paint was still wet.

I like to disassemble things.
That can be touched up and blended fairly easily. And while I'm not a big fan of wrapping an entire car, wrapping the front fascia may be a worthy consideration.

Thanks. Wrapping the front fascia is not a bad idea, especially since I'm not
a big fan of PPF. I suppose a partial wrap, could serve in a way as a form of
PPF?

For Ford to charge $495 for TO paint, and then use the Ray Charles visual quality
control method, to me is slightly egregious. Nothing surprises me, we cannot
expect Porsche Quality at Ford pricing.

Any particular reasons you guys donā€™t like PPF?

i have zero experience with it, but figured for what it costs it would be really awesome

Could have very well occurred anywhere between the factory and when you took ownership of the car.................................................................................................................................................................................................

This is my first car with it. I can not have another car without it now.

I have considered it because of the asteroid field i drive through to work. Iā€™d post a pic of what itā€™s done to my jeep, but itā€™s a little embarrassing. Just curious why the other fellas werenā€™t fans, as i could easily be talked into allocating that money elsewhere lol.

Curious as well. Honestly for me, it's peace of mind. I'd rather pay to replace a piece of PPF than a re-spray

I would go back to dealer where you purchased this car and ask them to fix it.
As for PPF, this car must be wrapped in PPF. The paint quality on this car is so bad it's not even funny. I have PPF on my entire front-end, part of the front roof, A-pillars and rear quarters.

Absolutely, I agree.
Touch up happens all the time on new cars, some are just better at it than others.
I have something similar on the rear bumper below the left side tail light. I knew the cure was worse than the damage so Iā€™m living with it. If it was on the hood, Iā€™m not sure Iā€™d feel the same.
Edit...Now when I zoom in I can see why you think it happened while the paint was curing. Those ripples donā€™t happen with cured paint, chips happen. That should have never made it past the quality check, Ford or not.
