I have a 2-step, but haven't used it yet, as it definately makes it leave harder under more power.

Have u tested the 2 step? Wonder how much boost u see at 3000rpm. Be cool to see a few psi.

I haven't. wouldn't be positive yet at 3,000. Upon release it would flash to 4,200 or so anyway for me. Positive pressure starts around 4,500. At lower rpms even though no positive pressure reading yet doesn't mean the blower isn't adding power. It's still forcing more air in, and the engine isn't working to pull the air in.

My buddy Ken used a msd 2 step on his paxton car before he switched and he said it really didnt help build boost. But it does let u leave at wot and makes reaction time more consistent.

I'll do with and without the 2 step, back to back when I get back to the track. I'm interested in the difference in 60 and 330.

NA I picked up 2-3 numbers on the 60' and MUCH more consistent runs. And yes biggest thing and reason I added 2 step, and at some point t-brake is reaction time improvement. Picked up about a tenth in reaction time consistently with 2 step.

If you can stick it having the throttle blade already wide open instead of slow opening helps big time.

Well like a typical race car junky just ordered BMR CB005, TCA048 vertical links, RH17 diff bushing hardware for the bushings I already have, and SP086R drag springs. Already got the Steeda alignment sleeves to pair nicely with a 67 CB005.

Shocks in a couple months hopefully

Thanks @beefcake are they here yet?! LOL

Following you guys I have a D1x kit on the way
Trying to figure out what to do with my converter. My car has the comp cams stage 3 cams and 3.55 gears

Due to that combo I am leaning to restalling my converter to 4c. If have considered 3c but just am not sure the car will like that RPM range. I believe a 3c in 100% na power is 3500/3600 a 4c would be about 3800.

Any input to go along with this topic and OP would be great the p1X running same boost readings is going have more punch.
I run the MT R tire and have some suspension stuff the car has been 1.47-1.50 in na form

Thanks for such a great informative thread

U got a 3c now setup for na? I'd leave it and see what the car does before making changes.

I’m running a 4c. The car is currently in the 1.5s for sixty. Hit a 1.49 every so often. My suspension mods are minor right now. Just a stop the hop kit. And a baby 2200sl blower.

Are you having traction issues? You should be mid 1.4 to high 1.3 on that setup?

Where do these 1.3s come from? I doubt a car that weighs 4100 pounds with me in it. Is cutting 1.3s. My traction is perfect this year. The logs look great. I don't remove any weight. And I run 93 octane. I'm just not seeing a 1.3 out of this car. If your getting a 1.3 your either removing weight from your car. Or your running on a different supercharger.
