congrats, definitely a 10 sec Stang for sure!

I experiment a lot... sometimes with automatics, if you "stall" them up a little, they
will leave a little softer.

Try that.

With my SRT8 Jeep, if I stall it up hard, it leaves softer than if I flat punch it off idle!
I have even went so far as to idle it down for MORE "shock" on the starting line.
I am AWD remember, so it basically dead hooks. You want the opposite, a little softer hit.

good luck, and keep us posted...if I were you, I couldn't wait a whole nother month.
Get that baby back down in the next 2 weeks, BOOM! 10.9@131 with a 1.69 60ft!

^yup, I agree. Good pass, you're a 1.6x from a 10.8-10.9 in those conditions, and a little better in lower DA. I've made a few trips to Gulfport when I lived in south Alabama, always felt like Africa, hot and humid.
Yea I am not a big fan of the track itself, but it was definitely good to see what it could do. I also haven't drag raced in about 6 years.

Issue here is that you can't stall the car for more than 4 seconds due to Toyota law, so I have to flash stall, which I did on my 2nd run. I have run autos before and always would stall them up to about 2k. When I stalled I spun very hard and still cut a 1.72 60', but I spun all through first gear. I also forgot that I actually let out before I got to the end of the track. So that is probably why my 2nd run was at 129. The others were at 128 cause the car was pulling power at that point from hot lapping. I am waiting for cooler temps here. It's brutal outside man. I just spent 30 minutes cleaning my car and I am drenched in sweat.
