Installing headers and do not have a tune for it. I thought I read here that it was not an issue driving car without a tune for headers.

Thank you.I drove mine for about a month with no tune. You'll likely get a CEL, even if you have high flow cats. If you have the Kooks green cats, you should be spared the CEL.
But yea, it'll drive just fine.
This. I already turned my rear O2s off in preparation for my long tubes I just need to adjust my O2 transport delay for the wideband O2s being placed further downstream.Headers the car will be fine. But you'll probably get a check engine light. If you can live with that you don't need a tune. But a tune would definitely wake the car up
Mine are turned off as well. Definitely lost low end torque but really gained mid range torque. To get tires to spin before headers took more gas pedal. Now much easier. Not sure what the TQ gain is but it is noticeable.This. Usually 25ft/lbs around 3000-3500. About 15-17 whp gains roughly.Mine are turned off as well. Definitely lost low end torque but really gained mid range torque. To get tires to spin before headers took more gas pedal. Now much easier. Not sure what the TQ gain is but it is noticeable.
