Tune expectations

I recently bought a Ngauge and 93 octane Lund tune, I contacted Lund and had them create a tune for 3.15 auto w/ magnaflow catback and 275 rear tire. I loaded the tune today and didn't notice much of a difference. From everything I researched automstic owners noticed crisper shifts, increased throttle sensitivity and more power.

For me the 1-2 shift seems harsher, throttle response is the same and overall I don't see a "night and day" difference.

Am I an anomaly or do I need to tell Lund to address certain issues?

Did you buy it through a sponsor or directly from lund? If a sponsor then ask them for help. If you bought it directly from Lund that was a mistake and you should have bought it through a sponsor on this site. A mistake because your only option is to email Lund and hope for a timely reply.

If you cant tell a difference something is not right. I would say double check and make sure you flashed the correct tune file. Data logging even with a engine as close to stock as yours is important and can point out external issues that you may not have been aware of. Bad gas, loose/ improperly installed/ failing engine parts, ect.

The tune in itself won't make too much of a difference, you're not adding a lot of HP. I have my tune, but haven't uploaded, as I'm waiting to get my parts installed soon.

Did you get the e8s flex fuel tune? If you did not, I would add that and fill E85 and I would bet you will feel a noticeable difference.

I remember reading that the flex tune was a holiday special, the one I ordered is a 93 tune which is fine because the closest e85'station is 20 minutes away. I guess I wasn't looking for a lot more power but more addressing the drivability and the night and day difference everyone talks about.

Tuning makes a huge difference in power and shift feel/crispness with the 5.0L/6R80 combo. AmiNo, try reloading the tune to make sure the right file was loaded, then call Lund if reloading doesn't change anything.

Yeah something isn't right. With a 93 or E85, you will notice a big difference.

Just send an email. Take some very thorough data logs and work with them on fine-tuning. When doing remote tuning you are very, very much involved. You need to tell them how the car feels, what it does that you like or doesn't like and support those desires with a good and clean set of data logs

Its not a major change at all. Depends how much you push the car or aware you are of subtle differences.
