TSB engine/trans shield?

Was there a TSB for the engine to trans shield noise? I think previous posts documented a replacement shield that mounts between the engine and trans.

Its the flex plate. We think it can cause the metallic trashbag sound at 4k rpm...I think some people have got it replaces. Dont think there is a TSB for it, but I could be wrong.

Check out this thread I had posted a while back. There is not a direct TSB for the S550’s, but there are (2) existing TSB’s for the aluminum transmission spacer plate. The most recent was for the F150’s, the earlier and over aged one was for the S197 Mustangs. Both TSB’s are in the thread:

Now granted those TSB’s can’t be used for warranty claims for the S550, BUT you could bring the F150 TSB to the Service Center and explain that what you are experiencing is exactly like what is referenced in the F150 TSB. I would also take the Tech or Shop Foreman on a ride and demo the noise.
