Talked to my tuner and local shop who is helping me build out my S550.
Planning on doing a Stage 2 Procharger, DS1E, aluminum driveshaft, oil pump gears, crank sprocket (it’s the tuner kit btw) and opted for the larger intercooler. Anything I’m missing or tips?
I already have installed
87mm throttle body, PMAS CAI(Tune required) long Tube catless headers, ported manifold, catback resonator Delete. Makes 430rwhp(on E-85 with 47/lbs injector)
Do I need a bigger throttle body?
They recommend not to run E-85 because it doesn’t need it but all I see is E-85 in high hp numbers. Need those forums gurus pls

Do the D1x, stock throttle body, fuel injectors, complete fuel system, and absolutely e85 or race gas.

...and a new block and trans upgrades. 1000hp, while there are some of us around, is no joke to make and keep reliable.

D1X is a must, you won't get there on the D1SC (I've maxed mine out).

You will need a short block if you want to make 1000hp at the wheels reliably. You will need a fuel system with bigger injectors than what you have and you will want to be running e85 or race gas. Also, probably want to upgrade the rear axles while you're at it, especially if you plan on putting it on stickier tires. If you are a manual car, a clutch will be needed as well.

bruh if they are telling you not to use E85 take it somewhere else. Honestly no offense but I think you need to do a lot more research, and you need a different shop and tuner before you even boost the car. You need to do alot more than just slap a procharger on it to make anywhere near 1000 hp.

Besides availability and upfront cost for upgrading fuel system, there's practically no reason not to use E85 vs gas. It's generally loads cheaper than any race gas you'll find and has a much higher octane rating, knock resistance, and runs cooler.

I’d go turbo if you want to make 1000. Gonna need ID1300 injectors, fore triple pump fuel system, stock throttle body and your stock motor will make that but It won’t last very long at that level

Besides all the upgrades(money) you’ll need, you should consider street driving. If you’re building a dedicated track car that’s one thing. If you’re planning on driving it on the street much, just know that 1000 is ridiculous. There’s guys doing it, but my 18 A10 made 880 wheel and it is scary on the street. Traction is a major issue. Even at speed. On stock PS4s, it broke loose at 80mph on the freeway. I now run on DR all the time and I still can’t hit it below 45-50. I personally wouldn’t shoot for any more than 700-750 for a daily street car. Just something to consider

Have him also tune it to 850whp on 85 octane in case you're trying to save a few bucks on gas

Find a different tuner and shop first of all....

Do at least a D1X if not an F1A-94. You will need to use E85 to make those numbers, or run half your fueling through meth injection (not recommended)

Prepare for a built motor and/or transmission at those power levels.
