I've had my 2020 for a month and during acceptance I noted the rear deck lid looked like it was sticking further out than my 15 GT's and requested the dealer take a look. Apparently, my dealer didn't have the expertise and the car was sent to Cadillac dealer that had a body shop. The attached pictures are the "fixed" version.
I can find a another dealer but I'm wondering if this is the "new normal" on 350s.

Just for gee-whiz the rear bumper - quarter panels gaps were terrible and were fixed by the Cadt body shop along with a couple of dings the car had. Also, this is a COVID car, i.e. was on the production line when the plant shut down so wondering if quality dipped a bit on the restart.

Had new a 16 GT350 and 17 GT350
I know the trunk gap on my 17 was noticeably wider on one side than the other at the lower part. My dealership had a local body shop I am familiar with fix it and it was then perfect. I asked the body shop owner how he fixed it, and he said you don't want to know. I'm pretty sure they simply stuck a 2x4 in the edge and sprung it over a little, but it worked. Panel gaps, these cars are notoriously bad in a lot of cases. Very little quality check at factory or they don't care.

Just looks like normal Ford fit and finish quality to me. Can't complain though; price:performance ratio is still pretty awesome.

Are you a Seymour guy?
Retired AF out of Pope and now Civil Service at Bragg but about to retire for good. It's been an amazing 43 years but I'm worn out both physically and mentally and want to enjoy a few of life's pleasures before it's to late.

Thanks for your service brother. I was stationed at Pope with the 440th MDS and got transferred to JB Charleston.

Swapped to ANG and now at Langley. Where yours is ending, mine is just getting busy. Lol.

Sure there were some tough days but I wouldn’t change a day. Thanks for stepping up and best of luck.
