Man I really want the 50th package, but I hate the spoiler more and more as I see it. I'm getting a GT convertible and it seems they use a different spoiler (same blade type as EB an V6) though that isn't confirmed. I think the blade one looks even worse than this one actually....I like the grill and the wheels (even though they are all-seasons) but the gas cap and the chrome taillight trim I am unsure about as well.

I'm liking the spoiler but I'm still not sold on the wheels but I wanted that 50th package... First thing I will be doing when mine arrives is swapping out the All seasonal tires/50th wheels for a black set and save the 50th mainly for shows (All Fords Nationals, Woodward, Mustang Week)

Yeah I was thinking the same thing, though I like the 50th wheels I want something more aggressive (20x10s in back and 20x9s in front) with wider summer tires and prefer a darker finish (but not shiny like the PP wheels)

I'm buying this car to keep forever, so resale isn't a big deal, but I would like to have the 50th anniversary to be a little more of a collectible especially when I'm old :D My problem is that I will want to mod the car, and thought I'll keep all the original parts, I dunno if I want that restriction in the back of my mind! I'm starting to think I'll just get the car w/o 50th package, maybe upgrade the grill later on because I like the corral grill, swap out the dash for the PP dash (so I get the turned look with the gauges; can't get the PP on convertibles), then get my own unique set of aftermarket wheels that I want. Then the only thing I would like is the 50th seats which are cool, but I could live without

I already thought I would want the standard GT decklid, then get the "50 Years" emblem off the gas cap and stick it on under the GT emblem. I think that will look much better than the faux gas cap, which IMO is ugly and looks out of place.

That's what I'm thinking but I also figured; this will be the only year they will offer the package so why the hell not. I was so thankful when we ordered the Warriors in Pink Mustang with my mom because they only offered it for 2 years (totally changed the design between those two years) that I figured my next mustang if there is a package which won't be offered again; go for it because you can't turn back time *but you can buy the parts afterwards to make it one* but to me it won't be the same. I see so many people try to make shift Warrior in Pink Mustangs but just isn't the same (I had a dealer once try to sell me another Warrior in Pink Mustang until I proved to him - that indeed is a clone - not a real one - he was so mad because he didnt do his homework and got "screwed" and had to advertise it as a "clone" Warrior in Pink :)

Wish our yellows would be here NOW! I keep looking at those pictures

Ugh I know...this will be the hardest decision of my ordering process! :frusty:

At least I have some time to think about it...I won't order until Jan/Feb most likely.

Oh shout out to fellow YMR member :-) I'm # 585

You got time !! Just think about it - I jumped the gun and ordered the day I was able to *heck I even beat the dealers to work* and now I most likely won't be getting it till Nov/Dec which is when the nasty weather comes. It's a big decision and you will make the right one

Okie !! I will - I love my YMR family - going thru a lot right now with my mother being in ICU and they have been there every second of the day supporting me.

After seeing the picture of the 50th, gotta say that personally I much prefer the black wheels with that color.
Sure wish I could get by with a standard transmission.
Probably going to be aftermarket wheels for me.

I prefer the black wheels as well. Silver wheels/chrome wheels/shiny alum wheels with yellow doesnt provide enough contrast! Dark gray would work well, as well as matte black and gloss black. I love the PP wheels personally, but it seems they are controversial and some folks wish they had more choice.

As Henry Ford used to say, 'you can have it in any color you want as long as its black'.

This color would look fantastic with the 50th LE wheels.
