TRIPLE YELLOW S550 MUSTANG Thread

I prefer the black wheels as well. Silver wheels/chrome wheels/shiny alum wheels with yellow doesnt provide enough contrast! Dark gray would work well, as well as matte black and gloss black. I love the PP wheels personally, but it seems they are controversial and some folks wish they had more choice.

Bingo on the contrast. Silver and Yellow aren't complimentary colors either and they clash in my book as well.

Putting pictures of the new Mustang in red, black, silver, and yellow as a rotating background pictures on my computer for the last couple of weeks has firmed up my decision to go with yellow (but not those ugly brushed aluminum IMHO 50th wheels).
Silver is a close second but yellow is first, at least until I change my other mind.

Are the above 50th appearance pkg wheels dull / mat finished or do they have any type of shine to them? Its hard to tell having not seen them in person.

They are Gloss Painted Nickel Silver.

Honestly, next to the 50th Anniversary Limited Edition's Machined and Painted Wheels they are My Favorite Wheel available for the 2015. I Really liked the Gun Metal Eco-Boost Performance Package Wheels, but Hate Them in Black.

I Agree! If I decide to go Triple Yellow on My Eco-Boost I'll probably go with the 50th Anniversary Appearance Package and Spoiler Delete, and just swap the Rear Deck Panel for one with the Pony or a Red, White and Blue Tri-Bar Pony, and Swap Out the Grills for Standard Eco-Boost Upper and Lower Grills, and put those Pieces Away for Safe Keeping.

You cannot get spoiler delete unless you get the Performance Package though...stupid, I know..:frusty:

I don't know why but when I build a GT Premium with the 50 AP but without the Perf Pack, it does allow me the Spolier Delete Option to be included. So have they changed their minds?

Yeah ive inquired about it, but it appears to be a glitch in the build and price. It won't let you do it on a convertible, however. I hope they do change their minds, otherwise I may not get the 50th package
