I thought I was set on guard, but this yellow is incredible!! In the front 3/4 shot you can see what looks like that "mother of pearl" look I've seen in some white paints on cars like Lexus on top of the passenger door mirror. Holy schnikies!! Can't wait to see these colors in person. This yellow is subtly special (if that's possible with a yellow)

Nope, pretty sure it's not.

No. It is Not a Pearlescent. It is a Three Stage Paint with a Tinted Clear Coat.

I thought a 3 stage paint process included a pearl/metallic layer to add depth :shrug:

A quick search and this appears to be a dealer in Toronto Canada. Certainly they can't be selling them. Maybe some sort of "Come see the Mustang event"???

The triple in Triple Yellow is because they first paint it white and then yellow. This is done to get this pure bright yellow, with no base coat shining through.

Personally I think it's a lot of hassle with a disappointing result. But not the greatest yellow is still better than no yellow at all, which we had to suffer since 2007.

I thought the triple in Triple Yellow is because it's a tri-coat of the actual yellow paint??

I'm I the only one that kinda thinks the tri bar pony looks kind of odd? I don't know what it is, but for some reason it just look disproportionate is someway. Sorry that was a bit off topic lol

For me the plasti-chrome really clashes with the yellow color and stands out in a bad way. Your attention is drawn to the badge instead of the car so yes I think it should be sized down as well.

I will be looking for either black chrome or gloss black front pony, rear GT and side 5.0 badges to replace the stock tacky (imho) chrome badges on my TY GT.
