TRIPLE YELLOW GT350/R Thread

Interesting....

Personally I like the stock stripes better w/o any extra doodas... and black wheels look more at home on a yellow 350.

Agree, yellow and black go hand in hand but the black wheels POP on a yellow car. Also, not sure what the red pinstripes below the GT350 signify if anything? Seems out of place and a bit cheap.

Lastly, am impartial to the stripes running on the bottom along the door. I think they look good on certain Mustangs, but seems out of place on the GT350.

Okay TY owners -- what's it like owning this car? Do you get a lot of unwanted attention? I've always loved yellow sports cars but never owned one. I'm currently spec'd for Avalanche, but thinking seriously about going "all in" and switching to Triple Yellow...

I am very happy with my TY. I never thought that I would own a yellow car until I saw a TY GT350R in TY. I changed my order from CO to TY. I do get the occasional "bumblebee" comment, but most people that see love the TY w/ black stripes.

Absolutely 100% satisfied i chose TY. I never get the 'bumblebee' comment but could care less if i did. Everyone who sees this car and can catch up to me to say something says its BA!! Those who cant catch me just give me a thumbs up.

Even those i know who dont like yellow cars admit its damn good looking. I dont think you can go wrong with any color or AG for that matter with this car. I just went on Friday and saw a AG R in town with white stripes and i said, damn its sweet in person but i still told myself i am glad i have a TY.

Very happy with my TY but it does get obscene amounts of attention. If you don't like people taking pictures most everytime your on the road, people pointing, kids jumping up and down you might want to go with another color. Pretty sure it gets more attention than a couple buddies cars, a GT40 Heritage and a red F360.

Everyone loves the yellow. I love the yellow. I came from a Grabber Blue Boss and I thought it was going to be hard since it's my favorite color from Ford. Nobody calls her Bumblebee even though I have Autobots emblems. Some think it's cheese but that's fine. I like it. I'm an 80s geek and all my cars have been themed Autobots. My Boss was named Bossimus Prime and I had a custom lighted speaker box with her name and running pony logo. My yellow car is named Sunstreaker after a yellow Autobot. Had to change the plate SNSTRKR as nobody got it. Any 350 gets attention but I think the yellow gets a tad more just cuz it's so bright. I pinstriped my molding and trim in yellow for even more pop and it looks great.

We walked the Ford lot looking at the available 2016 colors on GTs when ordering the GT350. I was initially set on CO but my wife and I kept coming back to the TY as the best looking color on this car. It does get a lot of attention.

I traditionally haven't been a huge fan of Yellow, but really liked it from the GT350 show car pics. Ended up being torn between CO and TY (like ruby red the best, but it wasn't an option in 2016).

Went with Yellow and love it. Still sometimes wish for ruby red, and still sometimes wish for CO, but then look back at the TY and am very happy with the decision. Turns out that this car looks amazing in every color.

I get lots of Bumble Bee comments, especially from kids and their moms when I drop my children off at their elementary school. I just tell them, "BUMBLE BEE IS A F*CKIN CAMARO (POSSIBLY A VW BUG IF YOU ARE OLD ENOUGH)! THIS IS A G*D D*MN MUSTANG GT350! WTF!"

Sometimes I wonder why my kids' friends aren't allowed to come over to our house, but in any case, they all like the GT350, especially in TY.

Welp I guess I waited too long because when I tried to change my color my dealer told me the car was scheduled and can no longer be changed. So, no yellow for me. But on the plus side, my car is scheduled :-)

Love the TY with the black roof. I had not been a yellow car fan until I saw this TY GT-350 in person. This color grows with you.

Have you guys seen the new Orange Fury for the 2018 Mustang? Also looks sweet.

By the way, yellow and orange color cars are the most valuable or desireable over time. Another reason to be a TY fan.
