Tremec shifter into 5th not smooth?

I wanted to share an update on my situation.

Now that the weather has warmed up, I went to my local Ford dealership and had the transmission fluid changed to the OEM-spec XT-10-QLVC.

Update: ,Still rough shifting into fifth sometimes. Definitely going to be a tough issue to solve since it’s not persistent. :-/

I have same issue. going from 4-5 and even 5-6 is something I really have to think about and do with purpose. It's not as easy as the muscle memory of 1-4.

I just thought it was the way its spaced. similar path is 2-3 and that is smooth but 4-5 requires just a bit of extra nudge in the direction im going or I feel like i risk downshifting.

It took some getting used to and i just got used to it.
