Hi everyone,

After not hearing from my dealer today (scheduled delivery), I decided to call them to see if my GT arrived. The salesman check the computer and it showed that the car had arrived, but when he went to go find it he could not. Looking past the fact that they lost a car on their own dealership, the salesman told me its possible its in the body shop for transport damage. Is this common? What sort of transport damage would even be "acceptable" (i hated typing that word)?

This has been a terrible experience customer service wise and I'm thinking I'm going to reject the car if anything has happened to it, as I do not trust them.

If the car made it to the dealership they would know where it is. If it went to the body shop they would have had to create a repair order. Sounds like bs to me.

I believe most car go thru some type of prep to correct minor imperfections before giving it to customers. I see this a lot with Audi/Volkswagen. This would not surprise me at all. Just make sure you go over your car with a fine tooth comb!
