Yeah it looks like your vehicle may have been damaged while in transport. :(

If that's the case get a hold of your dealer ASAP and ask for a priority 01 order if it truly was damaged

I would call your dealer. There may be different treatment between stock and retail to replace damaged cars. For stock, they may just submit a new order and let it schedule as normal. For a retail order, a regional manager should be all over it before you even have to ask about it.

also based off your screenshot (ecoboost car) you shouldn't have an issue being built and shipping fairly quickly if they prioritize you.

Very sorry. As stated contact your dealer, get them to get a regional/zone manager/rep. to issue priority 01. This is worse than not being scheduled a VIN at all. Very sorry. :( Hope your dealer takes care of you.

Unfortunately when damaged at factory, Not much dealer can do to speed things up.

Think about where those cars are kept. How long did your car sit in that lot?

There was some nasty weather a while ago in that area.

More than likely a paint blemish was found in QC. Appears to be a normal fix to me.

Not to speed it up but maybe offer free oil changes, a free service certificate, extended warranty or maybe knock off another $XXX or something. Yes it wasn't the dealers fault but maybe they can petition Ford to be reimbursed by offering something to the affected customer. :)

I'm not a rocket scientist....just a lowly computer developer for business operations....but uh, if there are 500 cars in QC or on the lot and weather (or some outside force) damaged one of them....there is a good chance that more are damaged. correct? That can't be good business practice.

I guess the only good thing about that is HOPEFULLY, the ones that are built after OKTB are loaded semi-immediately and shipped out.
