I am looking to buy a 2015 GT w/PP, I have been reading a lot of forums from 2011-2014 mustangs and problems with grinding gears and shift problems with manual transmissions. I have also found that the major complain about 2015 gt's with manual transmissions experience thuds. Can anyone hear expand or enlighten me on common complains on 2015 GT's. Thanks.

I have PP and am very very picky....I have thud, notchy shifts, and noises.....

Changed trains fluid, added a little dynamat, and installed aftermarket exhaust....

Mine is perfect now.

My most favorite car I have ever owned.

Mine (non PP) had the grinding/notchy shifting from 1 to 2 and 2 to 3. At 5000 miles I had my dealer swap trans lube with the BG stuff mentioned in another thread. It got much better, but still had the occasional notchy shift when cold. I just turned over 7000 miles and the notchy shifts seem to be a thing of the past.
Now that being said, it only happened when cold, and we are in summer temps. The real proof will be when cooler weather comes back this winter.

Mine is a tad notchy but nothing horrible. I will be swapping the tranny fluid soon.

It does "clunk" a little bit sometimes when going in and out of neutral but nothing crazy compared to other manual transmission cars.

Mine was a bit notchy for a while but I'm at 6k miles now and it's like butter. It has a slight 1-4 whine (so did my 12 for the 44k miles I had it) but you can barely hear it. Only mod is the Steeda shifter bracket, which is definitely worth the 70 bucks. Had one on my 12 too.

I have the thud and a little nibbley 3rd gear shift. Then again I only have 150 miles on the car. I have royal purple synchromax to swap out but havent gotten around to doing it yet.

The 3rd gear nibble goes away by 3k miles and I no longer give a rats ass about the thud.

Hey bud, which trans fluid did you use? RP, Red Line or Amsoil?

Just picked my car up on 6/23 and have just over 300 miles on it. Not one issue with the Manual trans. The last time I drove stick in a mustang it had a T-5 and was 87 hatch. I can say this Manual trans is leaps and bounds better then the T-5 I last drove.
