I'm about to change my engine oil and transmission fluid today. I have rhino ramps, which is usually all I use when changing my engine oil instead of jacking up the car on stands. Can you change the tranny fluid using just ramps like the engine oil or is it required to have the car jacked up front and back? I have two jack stands as well, so I could use the ramps along with jack stands if needed. My driveway has a bit of an angle to it, so if I backed onto the Rhino ramps, it would essentially be level to the ground because of the incline of my driveway.

Thanks!

I used two jack stands and wasn't an issue. I cant remember if I did front or rear but i guess it won't take much to go on the ramps and see if you have access to it

Thanks for the reply. My main concern was the angle of the car being only raised on the front or rear not allowing the tranny fluid to drain out 100%>

ahh I see. Thats is always my concern as well but what I did was with both drain and fill open I pumped in the new fluid until I could see it coming out of the drain hole. once that happened i just plugged the drain hole and filled it up.

I just finished up the job. I had the front up on ramps. I filled the provided cup up to the fill line then just pumped until it overflowed out of the fill hole. Once it started doing that, I just capped it back up and called it done. There was just a tiny amount left in the bottle so it had to be pretty damn close to exact.
