Hey guys my name is Enzo. Currently I have a Dodge Challenger RT with some mods on it. Just recently I been looking into the Mustang. Im slowly and surely falling in love with it and losing the love I have for my car. So Im now in the market for either a Challenger Hellcat, GT350, or a GT. After doing some research I've become very impressed with how well this coyote engine performs and how much power it puts out compared to the size of the Hemi 6.4L. Ive seen so many videos with people just putting a supercharger on the GT and pushing out 600rwhp bone stock. It takes so much to do that with a HEMI. So I was really interested in doing the GT350, but noticed it has high compression so can't go high in boost. I think the GT seems the proper way to go. Is there anything I should look for or anything I should be aware of getting into a mustang gt? Thank you guys for all the input!

Insurance shouldn't be too crazy, but that's something you'll have to find out yourself.

Just call up your insurance and ask for a quick quote.

Insurance depends where you live, I'm in miami so i was paying $180 but just switched to Statefarm I'm paying $160 now.

so it seems about the same as the challenger so it shouldn't be to different probably lower since its a newer car and "safer" from the technology. What Diff you guys recommend. It will be my DD for about a year and then I will have a truck for DD. I do plan on doing the super charger, but not turning it into a full race car, just something clean with some good power to kick some hellcat butt. lol

i got the premium performance package with 3.73, not exactly great with gas but i love it.

I just bought a Challenger ScatPac and pick it up this Saturday. I bought a S550 convertible in July with the intent to supercharge it, but as it turns out, I like it just fine the way it is and I decided to leave it stock. The ScatPac is gonna get modded including boosted.

So are you keeping the S550 vert, or trading it for the Mopar? One for touring, one for sport?

So I did a test drive today of the GT w. The pp and I fell in love rite away. Dealer low balled my trade in and I will be going to a different one later. I also went to test drive a new challenger SRT just for the heck of it. It felt so cheap compared to the new mustang. I'm very impressed with what ford did with this car.

If you want to supercharge it, lots of folks recommend the lower 3.31 gears instead of the PP's 3.73 gears. Keep that in mind.

Really? Why so? I have 3.31 and wanted get 3.7 gears for now but I plan to go s/c route in the future as well.

The problem with GT350 is ADM. Dealers ask 10-40k on top of the MSRP.
Personally, I would get a GT and throw a Whipple supercharger on it and modify the way you want it.
