Hey everyone, have a strange one here but I really hope someone can help and maybe even some that can hook it up that works in parts / service.

Spilled coffee ( a lot of it) about a month ago. The start button got stuck once but I got it loose and cleaned up so that’s that. About 4 weeks later ( haven’t driven the car at all) I start her up and both the traction control dash lights are on. The traction button does nothing so I instantly started looked at speed sensors ( confirmed at my mechanic that all 4 are reading) checked all fuses that are ABS related all good. Also removed the entire dash, took apart the whole hvac/radio, etc etc etc panel and cleaned up the contact pads and buttons for the power, hazard, traction and steering.

Upon running the codes, it was showing a power button fault which is now cleared as well as ( I forget what it’s called) but essentially a fault in the traction/ stability and abs. We confirmed that the actual traction button itself is working properly but with his scan tool but it doesnt do anything.

What else can I look for ? ( his answer was something fried on the board that’s mounted behind the center console because even after successfully clearing the codes, the two lights are still on. Help!

I really would like to try and avoid ordering the entire dash plate assembly/ hvac and button face and have it not be the problem :/
