Update-
The first prototype hood vents are done, I'll be getting the first one next week to check the fitting
to make sure everything is good to go!
The side vents are about another 7 days out.
Here's a couple of pics in the mean time, enjoy!

Keep in mind that this is just a prototype and not the final version, I'll mock it up next week
and see about a design change to remove the plastic grill.
I'm working with Trackspec closely on this and they said it is all part of the prototyping phase.

Good to hear. I hope they're open to feedback as I don't think there will be much of a market if it doesn't replace the OEM hood vent.

They're open to feedback, the design will change to cover the opening

The Trackspec vent is more for the tracked cars to get the heat out and hood lift

Yea, I'm aware Trackspec vents are designed for, "tracked focused applications". But, Trackspec also made vents for the 03-04 Cobra. Who tracks a Termi?..... I had a set just for cosmetic purposes to get rid of the ugly stock ones. Just throwing it out there man. Good luck with the research and development. I'm sure it will suit someone's need. Trackspec makes quality hood vents.

I saw two at my last track day.


And I though the vent was going to effectively replace and extend the stocker with the stock location as well. May be looking at the side vents. Are the side vents still presenting a structural integrity concern?

I'm going to mock it up next week and Trackspec is going to redesign it cover the stock vent
Never heard anything mentioned about the structural integrity concern on the side vents?
