Replacement Hood Vent?

Hey Gang... have a broken hood vent on my car [the black plastic insert in the center of the hood], my dealer is working on getting the part, but no ETA. Has anyone here had to replace this piece? One of the tabs was broken on delivery, seems like it happened when they put the stripes on the car.

If anyone's had luck getting their hands on this part and could share where to find it with relative ease I'd like to get one and fix my hood :-)

That's a new one. Haven't heard anyone reference a broken vent.

Yup, that and my passenger side fender vent seems to not be installed flush to the body, might even be coming loose....remember reading about that somewhere too...keeping an eye on that.

I was bummed when I discovered the hood vent thing. Each car built seems to have it's own special little issues.

Well, that small hood piece, the mirror caps and the carbon version of my track pack spoiler just might have to happen then....
