I own a Track Package car. I do not know how much downforce the spoiler creates but it must be a lot. I have put about 400 miles on the car, following break in procedure. I have fluctuated speed and also did dome high speed runs. While cleaning the car I noticed a mark on the top inboard lack bezel of both tail lights. The deck lid has no fitment issues what so ever and all spacing is even. After further inspection I realized that the deck lid is making contact with the tail lights. I think that the downforce is strong enough to compress the rubber stops and make contact with the lights. Any thoughts?

Your rubber stops for the trunk lid are adjustable, they are mounted on a helix. Turn both of them out in steps until it affects the closing of the trunk, then back off 1/4 turn. They should be stout enough to support a couple hundred pounds of down force. I had to make that adjustment with my R spoiler.

Not surprised. It's functional and makes downforce. Try adjusting the stops as Dave mentioned.

There are no adjustable rubber stops. The only adjustment that I can that cab be made is to the rear scissor linkage. I want to fix it.properly before I have the trunk repaired. Might have to increase the strength of the rubber stops.

Could you show me what stops you have GT Dave? The ones installed on mine are pretty flimsy and as I said not adjustable.

First 2 pics show the contact. Next 2 pics are the left and right scissor hinge. There is a metal stop at the back of the hinge and a rubber stop in front. As you can see the stops on my car are not adjustable and rather flimsy. They are simply the push in type.

I have the track package which has the spoiler and not the aero wing found on the R.
What's it like driving a Mustang in the UK?
